T.D Haygreen Ltd Takes Delivery of Their New JCB 4CX Dual Drive
We spoke with Tim Haygreen, Director of T D Haygreen, who has just expanded his fleet his new JCB 4CX Dual Drive Backhoe Loader!

It was a proud day at our Holt JCB Blandford depot, headed up by our Blandford Depot Manager, Adam Pidgley, as Tim Haygreen, Director of T D Haygreen Ltd, took delivery of his brand new JCB 4CX Dual Drive Backhoe Loader.
A journey built on hard work and family values
Tim Haygreen’s story is one defined by determination, experience, and strong family foundations. He began his working life in Agriculture on his parents’ farm in Tytherington before moving into Construction around 30 years ago. From those early beginnings, he has built a successful, family-run business that continues to thrive today.
Over the years, T D Haygreen’s contributed to a wide range of impressive projects, including work at Centre Parcs, Longleat, and Castle Combe.

Three decades of trust in Holt JCB
Throughout his career, Tim has remained loyal to JCB Machinery. For 30 years, Holt JCB has been a trusted partner on site, helping deliver reliable performance across every stage of his business growth.
A key part of that trust has been the strong relationships built over the years. Terry Bishop, our Holt JCB Heavy Line Sales Manager has worked closely Tim, for three decades, creating a partnership built on understanding the needs of his business and providing dependable support whenever it’s needed. He also has a long-standing relationship with Adam Pidgley, our Blandford Depot Manager, whose knowledge and commitment to customer care have helped ensure consistent back-up and service throughout the years.
These relationships are crucial in the Construction industry, where reliable support, quick communication, and trust can make all the difference on demanding projects. For Tim, knowing he has the Holt JCB team behind him that understands his business, gives him confidence both on site and in the long-term future of T D Haygreen Ltd.
Today, Tim’s fleet includes his new JCB 4CX Dual Drive Backhoe Loader alongside a JCB 19C Mini Excavator, a combination that reflects both versatility and capability on modern Construction projects.
Why the JCB 4CX Dual Drive stands
Tim’s JCB 4CX Dual Drive Backhoe Loader is equipped with specifications designed for the realities of a demanding site work. These include Dual Drive capability for enhanced manoeuvrability, oversized tyres suited to wet ground conditions, and auxiliary services that provide added versatility across a wide range of tasks.
But beyond performance, comfort plays a vital role. Spending12–15 hours a day in the cab, Tim values the improved visibility, smooth handling, and Operator-focused environment.
In his words, it’s the “best Backhoe on the market”. With the ability to make 400–500 turns a day thanks to the Dual Drive feature, that comfort and control make all the difference.

A personal touch
Adding a unique and meaningful detail, Tim has had the names of his grandchildren, Zara, Holly, Ruby, and Freddie, sign written on the machine. It’s a personal touch that reflects the family values that are at the heart of the business.

Built on support and long-standing relationships
Tim’s loyalty to JCB is about more than just machinery. As he explains:
“It’s a British brand, but just as importantly, it’s the support behind it. JCB has always been there for back-up.”
That support is also reflected in his long-standing relationship with our Holt JCB Heavy Line Sales Manager, Terry Bishop, a partnership that has spanned the full 30 years of T D Haygreen Ltd.
Tim also shared his appreciation for the wider team:
“I want to thank Holt JCB for all their support over the past 30 years and give a special shoutout to the Field Service Engineers.”
Congratulations, Tim
From all of us at Holt JCB, congratulations to Tim Haygreen and T D Haygreen Ltd on your new JCB machine. We wish you many more successful years ahead with your JCB 4CX Dual Drive Backhoe Loader!
