Holt JCB are proud to be supporting Paul and Gus doing a charity bike ride for Children's Hospice South West. We wish Paul and Gus good luck with their training. We look forward to supporting them through the bike ride, where they will be averaging 79 miles per day!

JCB was today celebrating after securing a change in regulations which will allow trailers to be towed on the road by wheeled construction machinery - potentially saving customers thousands of pounds a year.

Andrews plant hire and haulage

Turning onto the drive at Andrews Plant Hire and Haulage I was off to a positive start. In their first yard I clocked a JCB JS130 Excavator, that had clearly been moving aggregate. A line of purposely planted Daffodils in the banks positioned the subliminal message of positivity, bringing a smile, this was clearly a company of pride.

My first “Holt JCB “experience of Wales, was 9months ago when tasked with the opportunity to support the Holt JCB Port Talbot Team, in setting up their stand for the Pembrokeshire Show.

It has been some weeks since I travelled to Cornwall to meet with Jamie Shelton, Director of Duchy Group and Tony Whitemore their Sales and Business Director, my focus naively was Duchy Hire. For those who have been kind enough to read my “Site Sunday” articles, you will know that usually I go “straight to press”. However, this has been a deliberate stall…there has been a lot to reflect on from our meeting.
