JCB pins are made from the very highest quality materials to ensure maximum performance and safety. Across the range, JCB employs a variety of technologies to suit the application, such as Manganese Phosphate (ROCOL) coating or induction hardening. These may not be present in cheap pins sold in the Aftermarket, which will not perform to the same level and importantly not last as long.

Bushes may be spring steel, phosphor bronze, hardened steel or even plastic, depending on where they are being used. What is critical is that the bush is used with the correct pin to ensure you get optimum performance and the greatest wear performance. Only JCB specified pins and bushes will return your machine performance to 'as new' and you can keep them in first class condition with regular maintenance. Remember, for optimum performance always use one of the specialist greases from the JCB lubrication range - specified by JCB Engineers to JCB machines.
