Role Purpose:

To manage, source, and supply genuine JCB parts efficiently and accurately to internal technicians and external customers. The role ensures optimal stock levels, timely order processing, and excellent customer service—supporting the smooth operation of service and repair activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, source, and supply correct parts for JCB machines
  • Process orders via ERP or dealer management systems
  • Maintain accurate stock levels and conduct regular inventory checks
  • Liaise with service engineers to ensure timely parts availability
  • Provide technical advice and support to customers regarding parts selection
  • Handle warranty claims, returns, and supplier queries
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Promote upselling of parts and accessories where appropriate

  • Product Knowledge- Understands JCB machinery and associated parts; can identify components accurately
  • Customer Service- Builds rapport, communicates clearly, and resolves queries professionally
  • Attention to detail- Ensures accuracy in part identification, order processing, and stock records
  • Inventory Management- Maintains optimal stock levels and manages replenishment cycles
  • IT Literacy- Uses dealer systems, catalogues, and digital tools effectively
  • Team Collaboration- Works closely with engineers, suppliers, and depot staff
  • Problem Solving- Handles supply issues, backorders, and customer complaints with initiative
  • Commercial Awareness- Understands pricing, margins, and promotional opportunities

Qualifications & Experience

  • GCSEs or equivalent (including English and Maths)
  • Experience in parts supply, warehousing, or retail (preferably in construction/agriculture sectors)
  • Competence in suing parts catalogues and inventory software
  • Familiarity with JCB or similar machinery (advantageous but not essential)
  • Forklift licence (desirable but not essential
