Parts Supervisor
Role Purpose:
To manage, source, and supply genuine JCB parts efficiently and accurately to internal technicians and external customers. The role ensures optimal stock levels, timely order processing, and excellent customer service—supporting the smooth operation of service and repair activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, source, and supply correct parts for JCB Machinery
- Process orders via ERP or dealer management systems
- Maintain accurate stock levels and conduct regular inventory checks
- Liaise with service engineers to ensure timely parts availability
- Provide technical advice and support to customers regarding parts selection
- Handle warranty claims, returns, and supplier queries
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Promote upselling of parts and accessories where appropriate
Qualifications & Experience:
- GCSE's or equivalent (including Math and English)
- Experience in parts supply, warehousing, or retail (preferably in Construction/agriculture sectors)
- Competence in using parts catalogues and inventory software
- Familiarity with JCB or similar machinery (advantageous but not essential)
- Forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
